A REPEAT OF WHAT HAPPENED A FEW YEARS AGO AT THE NEW FOREST
An ‘enchanting’ winter wonderland has been forced to close after attracting dozens of complaints on its first day.
Although the venue promised packs of huskies and reindeer, music, an ice rink and a magical Santa’s grotto, parents and their children were left bitterly disappointed.
One woman claimed she paid £42 for pre-booked tickets only to find ‘thin, young men dressed in Santa outfits from Poundland’.
Another disgruntled parent said her children were left heartbroken because staff openly talked of hiring more Santas as families queued for hours in the cold.
As angry reviews surfaced on Facebook, visitors branded the Milton Keynes site as a ‘third-rate Mickey Mouse affair’.
One mother, Amy Burge, wrote: ‘There were two husky dogs, one of which was in a small cage and barking. Two reindeers were in a small pen and could hardly move.’
