An Important Call Out To Take Action NOW!!

Thanks to Nick @Mylegalform and the PCS Union something is about to pass through Parliament that will have massive repercussions on us all there is no other reason for parliament to do this other than to protect themselves from Court claims and strip away citizens Human Rights

Nick

It is the repeal of part 1 s3 General Duty of the Equality Act 2006 and is worded as below:

3  General duty

The Commission shall exercise its functions under this Part with a view to encouraging and supporting the development of a society in which—

(a)people’s ability to achieve their potential is not limited by prejudice or discrimination,

(b)there is respect for and protection of each individual’s human rights,

(c)there is respect for the dignity and worth of each individual,

(d)each individual has an equal opportunity to participate in society, and

(e)there is mutual respect between groups based on understanding and valuing of diversity and on shared respect for equality and human rights.

If this goes through in laymans terms it will mean:

(1) people’s ability to achieve their potential is  limited by prejudice or discrimination.

(2) there is no respect for and protection of each individual’s human rights.

(3) there is no respect for the dignity and worth of each individual.

(4) each individual does not have an equal opportunity to participate in society.

(5) there is no mutual respect between groups based on understanding and valuing of diversity and on shared respect for equality and human rights.

This would mean that the guy who won an out of court settlement for discrimination would not have had this been repealed and it would no doubt put the brakes on any further claims.

We all no matter what race, colour, nationality or disability allow this to go through so I urge you all to start fighting back by writing to your MP, you can do this very easily and will only take a few minutes via the PCS Union Website.

All you have to do is enter your postcode and it will bring up the letter to your MP:

WE MUST NEVER ALLOW THIS TO BE REPEALED.

  1. Words fail me, but not nothing surprises me, sadly. These bastards are stopping at nothing to make sure that they win, even if they lose.

    • is there a way we can throw the government out and let the people of this country govern our country , im in whos with me ???? lets get them out and do it ourselves ! we could do it we dont need them we will carry out whats best for the country and the first thing i would do is burn all the money , and we would all be equal . no money, no greed, no power ,just power to the people ! lets look after us as they are not ! .

      • I’m not too sure that would work Katy. Human nature being what it is there would always be some of them that would remain greedy. They would figure out a way to get all that they want……… even if they had to resort to murder to get it.

  3. i can,t believe this government would get away with all of this ..this government must not be allowed to get away with taking away everything and our human rights we must fight the whole system.

  4. I can’t bloody believe this. They CANNOT be allowed to scrap the Equality Act, in-part or whole. The Equality Act protects too many people – the disabled, ill, elderly, people of foreign and ethnic backgrounds – from open discrimination and abuse, and bigotry. This madness must be met with absolute resistance, from all possible corners. They can’t be allowed to even TRY – because if they succeed, the potential for rampant abuse is breathtaking. It’d open season on all of us.

  5. Cannot any MP who votes in favour of this not be charged with conspiracy to pervert the course of justice?
They are deliberately trying to take power away from the court, and this is a matter on which we have a legal obligation in international law, not just the local law that they are trying to protect themselves from.
Of course, even in the absence of of Conspiracy to pervert the course of justice, there is always the far more general crimes against humanity.
I wonder how Hague feels about a (long) visit to The Hague?

  6. Nothing surprises me with this goverment. It seems they are hellbent on destroying lives. This goverment only looks after the rich and themselves. They are scum..

  7. this is just getting ridicules now they just making mugs out of us all now they need stopping and getting out before we have no say in anything or any rights to do anything about it these are just animals

  8. So the government that nobody voted for is trying to do something that nobody wants

    whats new?
I hope everybody takes this in and NEVER!! votes for a conservative government again or Lib Dems
    And definitely not Labour..

we need to make sure that the 3 big parties never rule this country again
vote them out and keep them out

    • Problem is mr. Bailey if you dont vote for one of the big 3 who do you vote for ?, and simply not voting will not solve this unfortunately because the people that do vote will decide who rules you for the next 5 years, the whole system either wants scrapping or we need a new party to vote for which will protect the people first. (good luck finding one) 😦

  9. It will never change unless we change ourself……england is divide through colour race, religion and the list goes on, and the government no’s that uless we stand together nothing will ever change. For capitalism to function effectively, it has to bring people together in large workplaces—and not just factories, but also offices, warehouses, supermarkets and so on.

It is our labour, our exploitation, that produces all the profits the bosses grab from us. This means that it is at work that we are at our most powerful. Our ability to withdraw our labour can paralyse capitalism

  10. Would i be right in thinking that if this goes through it will stop the public from appealing against the bedroom tax situation. on the grounds that it will allow the government to discriminate against disabled people.

if this is the case then the government must know that the bedroom tax is illegally implemented as it is not allwoing for any rights. and they are not listening to the reasons behind peoples objections

  11. Would i be right in thinking that it will also stop those who are disabled that were found fit to work by Atos from appealing regardless to doctor medical reports etc , well in that case the government has sentenced loads of us to death , it disgraceful

  16. I am watching the debate *live* I am just astonished that this hugely important section is BURIED within something called The Enterprise and Regulatory Bill – they hide things so we cannot find them, all rather occult and something that fits with their true characters too. Cruel and dishonest are too mild a phrase to use when describing these creatures.

  17. We cannot allow this to happen, we must stand together and fight All governments and their puppet masters who try to take away the rights we are born with.

We must not be afraid to be heard and shout loud and long for our rights as a human being.
